We have assembled a World-Class Team of USA Triathlon, USA Swimming and USA Cycling Certified Coaches. Many of our coaches also have a variety of additional sports/fitness certifications and many coach youth sports. It’s all about bringing great people to our team that are awesome with kidz and prioritize having lots of FUN!


Lisa Campisi

Lisa has been involved in triathlon since 2010 when she completed her first race.  Since then, she has raced all triathlon distances including in the summer of 2016, when she completed her first 70.3 Ironman in Racine, Wisconsin.  Lisa is working towards completing her first full Ironman soon! When not competing, Lisa spends her days teaching 4th grade in a South Jersey public school. Lisa has been involved in coaching first-time triathletes and teaches indoor cycling at Virtua’s Center for Health and Fitness in Voorhees, NJ. She’s a USAT Level I, Youth and Junior Certified Coach. In her spare time, you’ll find Lisa giving back to the sport or sharing it with people she meets. One of her proudest moments has been having several of her students follow in her footsteps as race volunteers and participating in triathlon for the very first time.


Gretchen Cooney

Gretchen is the owner/founder of Bucket List Training, an endurance coaching business. She is a triathlon coach for the Eastern PA chapter of Team in Training and served as a volunteer coach for the Glow Girls running group in the fall of 2014.  She has finished more than 40 triathlons including 4 Ironman races, and over 100 running races including 22 marathons. She has qualified for the Half Ironman World Championships 3 times, and for the Boston Marathon 6 times.  Gretchen is currently a member of the Philadelphia Triathlon Club, the Mullica Hill Women’s Triathlon Club and the Nantucket Triathlon Club, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Mullica Hill Triathlon Club and the Philadelphia Triathlon Club.  Since 2005, Gretchen has worked in endurance sports event management including the Philadelphia Insurance Triathlon/TriRock Philadelphia, SheROX Triathlon series, Ironman 70.3 Pocono Mountains and the Via Marathon.


Alan Kipping-Ruane

USAT Level I, Youth & Junior Certified Coach
Alan is an exercise kinesiologist and the Founder of TriGuy Multisport Coaching.  He was a Naval Rescue Swimmer and Training Supervisor of a helicopter combat squadron delivering enlisted rescue swimmer development, physical conditioning and tactical operations. He regularly helps athletes understand the role of training (exercise physiology, kinesiology, anatomy, nutrition, biomechanics and sports psychology) through his USA Triathlon and Multisport University webinars. As a first generation college graduate, Alan holds a Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University in Kinesiology with a Minor in Business.


Heather Leiggi

Professional Triathlete & USAT Level 1 Certified Coach
Heather Leiggi is living her dream of racing as a professional triathlete.  She has raced all over the world, including Europe, New Zealand/Australia, Mexico and throughout the United States.  Her focus is on the Ironman 70.3 distance where she is a multiple podium finisher.  In 2013, Heather finished 2nd at Ironman Syracuse 70.3 and qualified and competed at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships. She also won the 2012 SheRox Philadelphia Triathlon, finished 4th at 2012 Philadelphia Triathlon, 3rd at Ironman Florida 70.3 and 3rd at Ironman Rhode Island 70.3 both in 2011.  Heather is a USA Triathlon Level I certified coach and licensed physical therapist living in Philadelphia, PA.  You can follow her racing and coaching at www.heatherleiggi.com


Shauna Navarro

USAT Level I, Youth & Junior Certified Coach
Shauna has been involved in triathlon since 1988 when she raced the Madison Olympic Triathlon, and since then has raced all distance triathlon events. She has over 15 years of coaching experience in youth track and volleyball and is an ACSM certified personal trainer. She coaches many first-time triathletes and you can find her working with athletes at the USAT Certified Training & Performance Center at Virtua in Sewell, NJ or at Virtua’s Center For Healthfitness facilities in Voorhees, and Moorestown, NJ. A mother of three adult daughters, she loves her Rhodesian Ridgebacks Theo and Luna, who can run a marathon distance with you!!!

 


Todd Wiley

Former Professional Triathlete, USAT Level I Certified Coach
Todd began his triathlon career in 1994, after graduating from Kutztown University where he was a two-time All-American. In 1998, after winning the Duathlon World Championship and placing 3rd overall in the Triathlon Worlds Championship, he was named Triathlete of the Year by USA Triathlon. Todd became a professional triathlete in 1998 and has completed 12 Ironman events, including 4 at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii, and 15 marathons.  One of the highlights of his career is when he became a guide for elite blind triathlete, Aaron Scheidies, guiding him to a World Championship win at the 70.3 distance, where Aaron set a world best for visually impaired athletes.   The founder of TWileySports, Todd coaches athletes of all athletic abilities around the world.
