Challenge Champ Triathlon (Saturday Race)
We divide half the pool into 25 yard lanes, where racers can swim either 25 or 50 yards, depending on what they choose on race day. Any type of swim aid is permissible and race guides can also be in water while their racer is swimming. For racers that are in rafts and tethered to their race guide, we use the second half of the pool that has no lane lines and racers will swim in a counter-clockwise motion once around the pool.
Family Triathlon Challenge (Saturday Race)
Adults on a Family Team will swim 50 meters, bike 1 mile and run1 mile; Relay Team adults will complete whatever portion of the race course they have decided to do, at the same distances. All youth racers can elect to do the entire course, or shorten it to a 25 meter swim, .50 mile bike and run, if they like. We will have shorter distance cones setup on the course and they can turnaround wherever they feel comfortable. This is all about having fun and crossing the finish line together!
