Challenge Champ Triathlon (Saturday Race)
We divide half the pool into 25 yard lanes, where triathletes can swim either 25 or 50 yards, depending on what they choose. Any type of swim aid is permissible and race guides can also be in water while their athlete is swimming. For triathletes that are in rafts and tethered to their race guide, we use the second half of the pool that has no lane lines and triathletes will swim in a counter-clockwise motion once around the pool.
Family Triathlon Challenge (Saturday Race)
Adults on a Family Team will swim 50 meters, bike 1 mile and run1 mile; Relay Team adults will complete whatever portion of the race course they have decided to do, at the same distances. All Youth triathletes can elect to swim 25 meters and bike/run a shorter distance, if they like. We will have shorter distance cones setup on the course and they can turnaround wherever they feel comfortable. This is all about having fun and crossing the finish line together!
