Kimberle has been part of the triathlon community for many years. She is a USA Triathlon Certified Race Director and CAT1 Elite Rules Official, Head Ironman Referee, International Triathlon Union Technical Official and has officiated all over the Country, including National and World Championship events. A competitive athlete since a very early age, Kimberle continues to participate in a variety of competitive and recreational sports. A serial entrepreneur, KidzTri3 is one of many companies she’s founded over the past 30 years and definitely the most rewarding.
Lisa has been involved in triathlon since 2010 when she completed her first race. Since then, she has raced all triathlon distances including in the summer of 2016, when she completed her first 70.3 Ironman in Racine, Wisconsin. Lisa is working towards completing her first full Ironman soon! When not competing, Lisa spends her days teaching 4th grade in a South Jersey public school. Lisa has been involved in coaching first-time triathletes and teaches indoor cycling at Virtua’s Center for Health and Fitness in Voorhees, NJ. She’s a USAT Level I, Youth and Junior Certified Coach. In her spare time, you’ll find Lisa giving back to the sport or sharing it with people she meets. One of her proudest moments has been having several of her students follow in her footsteps as race volunteers and participating in triathlon for the very first time.
Jill was a multiple All-American Division 1 athlete and goalie of the USA Women’s Lacrosse Team. As a 2013 inductee into Temple University’s Hall of Fame, she continues to mentor young female athletes across the Mid-Atlantic region. Over the past several years, Jill has transitioned to triathlon and has been a big part of the KidzTri3 team. Her 10 year old son has raced with KidzTri3 since he was 7 and now enjoys attending triathlon camp and bringing the sport to his classmates.
Tracy Frary – Transition Chief
Tracy is a seasoned “recreational triathlete”, two-time Ironman finisher and mom to two triathletes. She founded and directs the School’s Out! Kids’ Triathlon in Horsham, PA and serves on the Horsham Parks and Recreation Board. She has been part of the KidzTri3 family since the beginning and continues to be instrumental in helping us grow the organization.
Eric Frary – Bike Chief
Eric is an Ironman Lake Placid Finisher and a 8-time Ironman 70.3 Finisher. He was co-founder/co-race director for the Schools Out! Kids’ Triathlon in Horsham, PA. Eric has been part of the KidzTri3 Race Crew since our first event and you’ll see him and his team on race day monitoring the bike course to ensure the safety of our athletes.
Karen Missimer – Transition Chief
In 2001, Karen got hooked on triathlon and completed her first Olympic distance with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and later completed her first Ironman in Cozumel, Mexico. A mother of two, full time teacher, certified personal trainer, an avid triathlete and fitness instructor, Karen has been involved in physical fitness for many years. Certified through the American Aerobic Association International (AAAI) and International Sports Medicine Association (ISMA), Karen holds current certifications in Personal Training, Total Body Strength Conditioning, Cycling Certification, Kickboxing Certification, Phase I & II Mat Pilates Certification, Kids Fitness, Strength Conditioning and Weight Training Consultant Certification and is a pro-team Insanity instructor.
Gretchen has finished more than 40 triathlons including 4 Ironman races, and over 100 running races including 22 marathons. Twice she has qualified for the Half Ironman World Championships and for the Boston Marathon six times. Gretchen is currently a member of the Philadelphia Triathlon Club, the Mullica Hill Women’s Triathlon Club and the Nantucket Triathlon Club, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Mullica Hill Triathlon Club and the Philadelphia Triathlon Club. Since 2005, Gretchen has worked in endurance sports event management including the Philadelphia Insurance Triathlon/TriRock Philadelphia, SheROX Triathlon series, Ironman 70.3 Pocono Mountains and the Via Marathon.
